【摘要】:PromulgationsbytheU.S.OccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA)in29CFR1910.1000designatethatcertainorganiccompoundsmustnotbepresentinworkplaceatmospheresatconcentrationsabovespecificvalues.Thispractice,whenusedinconjunctionwithPracticeD3687,willprovidetheneededaccuracyandprecisionforthedeterminationofairbornetime-weightedaverageconcentrationsofmanyoftheorganicchemicalscitedinCDC-99-74-45,HSM-99-71-31,NIOSHManualofAnalyticalMethods,29CFR1910.1000,OSHAChemicalSamplingInformation,OSHASamplingandAnalyticalMethods,HSEMethodsfortheDeterminationofHazardousSubstances,andBGIAGETISAnalyticalMethods.ApartiallistofchemicalsforwhichthismethodisapplicableisgiveninAnnexA1,alongwiththeirOSHApermissibleexposurelimits.1.1Thispracticecoversamethodforthesamplingofatmospherestodeterminethepresenceofcertainorganicvaporsbymeansofadsorptiononactivatedcharcoalusingacharcoaltubeandasmallportablesamplingpumpwornbyaworker.AlistofsomeoftheorganicchemicalvaporsthatcanbesampledbythispracticeisprovidedinAnnexA1.Thislistispresentedasaninformationguideandshouldnotbeconsideredasabsoluteorcomplete.1.2Thispracticedoesnotcoveranymethodofsamplingthatrequiresspecialimpregnationofactivatedcharcoalorotheradsorptionmedia.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Aspecificsafetyprecautionisgivenin9.4.
